Service 03
Roof painting & restoration in Auckland.
Most Auckland roofs we look at are five years past their recoat window. We kill the moss and the rust, prime correctly for the substrate underneath, and put down a membrane rated for the UV we get at this latitude.

Questions
Roof restoration in Auckland — the questions we get.
Anything else, just ring. 021 088 17906. Andrew usually picks up himself.
Do you spray or brush a roof?
Mostly sprayed, for an even membrane build, with brush and roller detail at the flashings and edges. The substrate and the access decide it.
How long does a roof restoration last?
A correctly prepped and recoated roof typically holds ten to fifteen years. The moss kill and the right primer matter more to that than the topcoat does.
Can you get rid of the moss and lichen?
Yes — biocide treatment, a full rinse, and a proper dry-out before anything goes on. Skipping that step is the usual reason recoats fail early.
Can I change the roof colour?
Within the heat-reflective range for your substrate, yes. Darker colours run hotter, so we'll talk through the options before you commit.
