Service 06

House washing in Auckland.

Soft-wash and waterblast on houses, roofs, fences and driveways. Auckland's wet winters leave moss, mould and salt-haze on every elevation, and the wrong cleaning method takes paint film off the wall faster than the dirt did. We pick the chemistry and the pressure for the substrate, not for the truck we happen to own.

The scope

What every wash & restore job covers.

Same scope every time — the prep, the systems and the tidy-up spelled out, so nothing gets quietly skipped on price.

  1. Low-pressure soft-wash with biocide on painted timber and plaster

  2. High-pressure waterblast on concrete, brick, and long-run steel roofs

  3. Kill the moss and lichen, full rinse, then proper dry-out before any coat goes on

  4. Windows, gutters and downpipes rinsed off as part of the job

  5. Driveway and path waterblast with a surface-clean head, no zebra striping

  6. Annual maintenance-wash plan if you're on the coast

The colour deck

Half the job is the colour.

We bring the Resene, Dulux and Wattyl fan-decks to your place and settle the scheme on site — a screen only ever gets you close.

Back to true colour

A wash doesn't change the colour — it brings back the one that's under the moss, salt and grime.

Questions

Wash & restore in Auckland — the questions we get.

Anything else, just ring. 021 088 17906. Andrew usually picks up himself.

Soft-wash or waterblast — what's the difference?

Soft-wash is low-pressure with biocide, for painted timber and plaster. Waterblast is high-pressure, for concrete, brick and steel. High pressure on paint film strips it, so we match the method to the surface.

How often should I wash the house?

Once a year keeps the moss and salt-haze off, especially on the coast — and a clean surface makes the paint last longer.

Will washing damage the paint?

Not when it's done right. The wrong pressure on the wrong surface will, which is exactly why we pick the chemistry and the pressure for the substrate.

Do you do driveways and paths?

Yes — a surface-clean head on the flatwork, so you get an even result with no zebra striping.
